Everything you need to know about snow clearing in Hamilton including the plowtracker!

Snow Angels

Snow Angels is a program to assist Hamilton seniors and disabled residents with a financial subsidy to help them meet the requirements of the City of Hamilton Sidewalk Snow Clearing By-law.  The subsidy can be used to pay for snow removal needed to clear the sidewalk and to provide safe walking access to the front door and through the snow-plow windrow.  This subsidy is not to be used for whole driveway snow clearing.

Butterflyway Hamilton

The award-winning Butterfly Project marked its seventh year in 2023, thanks to the ongoing enthusiasm and action of Rangers and volunteers. As COVID-19 restrictions lifted, Rangers spread their pollinator and native plant love at community events, daycare centres, schools and workplaces, as well as over garden fences and on sidewalks with passers-by.

If you'd like to help create pollinator gardens in Ward 12, email us at Ward12@hamilton.ca
